Barbara Claxton's Obituary
Services for Barbara Claxton, 75, of Longview will be held at the Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Saturday June 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Memory Park Cemetery. Mrs. Claxton passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Longview. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Mrs. Claxton was born in Henderson, Texas on October 14, 1935 to C.P. and Winnie Alexander. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Longview.
Mrs. Claxton is survived by her husband of over 60 years James Claxton of Longview; granddaughters Tricia and husband Richard Moore of Longview, Jamie Lewis of Tenn.; grandsons Charles Clayton of Longview, Larry Applewhite of Longview; and Six great grandchildren.
