Avilou "LuLu" Dubois' Obituary
Lulu Dubois, lovingly called Mawmaw, 60, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Longview. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 6-8pm.Graveside services at Rosewood Park Mausoleum on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11 o'clock. Pastor Todd Kaunitz of New Beginnings Baptist Church will be officiating.
Born July 15, 1952, in Beaumont, TX to Charles and Betty Faggard. Lulu graduated from High Island High School in 1970 before attending Stephen F. Austin State University. Growing up on the Bolivar Peninsula her heart has never left the gulf coast breeze and sand.
In 1973, her and her husband, Ray Lee, started their lives together in Longview, TX. She proudly worked for the City of Longview for numerous years with eighteen of them at the Longview Police Department.
Lulu was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a true friend to all.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ray Lee Dubois, her son, Brian Dubois and wife Amy, her daughter, Lindsey Bowden and husband Devin, and four precious grandchildren, Allison and Katie Dubois and Landon and Colton Bowden, all of Longview, TX; and her brother, Bucky Faggard and wife Barbara of High Island, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Betty Faggard and her sister, Reanne Snyder.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Longview Police Benefit Association, PO Box 1952 Longview, TX 75606.
