Ava Joyce Arden's Obituary
Funeral services for Ava Joyce Arden, age 68 of Henderson, will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday October 15, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Ken Ashlock & Rev. Harold Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Crims Chapel Cemetery.
Born Ava Joyce McQueen on October 27, 1939 in Latexo, Texas. She went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on October 12, 2008, at the age of 68. Mrs. Arden was a member of the Brooks Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Travis Arden of Henderson; daughter Rhonda & husband Donald Hamilton of Sunnyvale: sons, Phillip & wife Paula Arden of Forney, Timothy & wife Lauren Arden of Forney. Four Grandsons Daniel & wife Misty Arden of Mesquite, Nicolas & wife Shawne Hamilton of Mesquite, Tony & Tye Arden of Forney. Three granddaughters, Stacie Hunt of Sunnyvale; Jennifer Arden of Forney and Hannah & husband Glen E. Guy III of Rockwall:and one great grandson, Cash Hamilton of Mesquite.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nanny McQueen & father William F. McQueen, brothers Marshall McQueen and brother, Bill McQueen.
We know that our wonderful wife and mother is celebrating her homecoming with Jesus Christ whom she loved all her heart. Heavens choir sounds even better with her beautiful voice joining in. She devoted her life to the Lord and gave her wonderful voice to be used for his glory. She was precious mother who always put her children and family first. All who knew her loved her. She will be missed forever.
The family visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
