Graveside services for Augusta L. Prior , 99, of the Chalk Hill Community will be 2 PM Tuesday at the Chalk Hill Cemetery with Ross Law officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Prior died Saturday evening at a local nursing center.
She was born December 19, 1907 in Hondo, Texas and had resided in the Longview and Chalk Hill areas since the early 1940?s. Mrs. Prior was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church at Lakeport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Prior, in 1984 and is survived by her sons and their wives: Travis and Betty Prior of Chalk Hill and Carrol and Juanita Prior of Bella Vista, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Highland Pines Nursing Home, 1100 N. 4th St., Longview, TX 75601.
