Augusta Fastert Williams' Obituary
Augusta Fastert Williams was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, on October 29, 1904, to Martin and Marie Juhl Fastert. She was married to the late Herbert Lacy Williams. Mrs. Williams was a longtime Longview resident, and operated a beauty salon here for many years. She was a charter member of First Lutheran Church of Longview, which held its first organizational meetings in her place of business.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by eight siblings. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Emma Springborn of Aurora, Illinois, and many friends.
Memorial services will be 2 PM on Friday, January 31, 2003 at the Memory Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with the Reverend Phillip Fenton and Reverend Ed Wunderlich of First Lutheran Church officiating, under direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church Building Fund.
