Uncle Audrey was a fun and loving uncle all of us adored. Anna Lee, my mother’s only sister, was the love of his life he often said. When we were little kids, they would have us visit at the family farm. Audrey would make sure we all got up early so we could go outside to feed all the farm animals. I think that is why to this day I have chickens and bunnies etc.
His Mom made an enormous farm breakfast and Audrey, Anna Lee, his wonderful family made sure we felt soooo welcome we looked forward to going again!
When I got a job in Dallas, they invited me to live with them at first. They drove me around to help me find my own apartment. Again, totally welcoming and fun. He was a Christian man with character, generous, and kind. My Aunt Anna Lee and Uncle Audrey were my home away from home.
They lived and breathed for their son, Jonathan. What a legacy of family excellence and loyalty they left for not only Jonathan but for all my cousins, sisters, and I.
We know our Lord and Savior, Lorne Paul, and Anna Lee have welcomed him home.
We love you Uncle Audrey.: pray: RIP
