Audrey Brisendine's Obituary
Audrey Brisendine, 85, of Longview passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at her home with family by her side. Audrey was born on April 23, 1937, to Nolan & Cleo Smith in Longview, Texas. She graduated from Longview High School in 1955 then married her first husband Paul Carlisle who she had her three children with. She met her second husband, Jeffery “Ken” Brisendine, in 1988 and she welcomed his 3 children into her life. In the 90’s, Audrey retired from Stemco and spent her time either traveling with her husband while he worked out of the country or spending time with her grandchildren. Audrey married the love of her life Jeffery “Ken” Brisendine on November 4, 1988, and together they had six children and 7 grandchildren plus numerous great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with their large family and Christmas time was always memorable. Her love never went unnoticed, and she would do anything for anyone who needed help.
Audrey is preceded in death by her husband Ken Brisendine, parents Nolan & Cleo Smith, Son Timothy “Mark” Carlisle, granddaughter Amber Carlisle, Stepson Jeff Brisendine & brother-in-law LT Mobbs. Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings: sister Mary-Neal Mobbs, brother & sister-in-law Nolan & Sandra Smith. Her Children: Paul Carlisle (Terri), Brenda Carlisle, Amber “Missy” Kinsey (Jimmy), & Angie Prudhome (Danny). Her grandchildren: Chase Carlisle (Elyssa), Brittany Plaschke-Hogg, Chelsea Carlisle, Stacey Sharp (Harley), Paige Burkett (Chase), & Kaleb Brisendine (Kaity). She had several great-grandchildren as well: Casen, Cade, Kyla, Logan, Matthew, Paityn, Ryder, Riley, Kaiya, Kruz, Emerson, Alistair, Deacon, & Truman.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1pm Elderville Cemetery 15760 N. Highway 322 Elderville, TX.
