Audrey Elaine Bradley's Obituary
Audrey Elaine Bradley age 97, of Longview Texas passed away February 16, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Bradley was born on June 4, 1919 in Fair Dealing Missouri to George and Mary Ellen Walpole. They moved to Michigan in her early teens and it was there she later met William J. Bradley when he had just gotten out of the service during WWII and on December 24, 1947 they were married. They moved to Nashville Arkansas then on to Medford, Oregon then in 1953 they moved to Longview, Texas. Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and members of the Ruth and Ester Sunday school classes. She was a loving mother grandmother and great grandmother. Her family and home was the joy of her life.
She is survived by her son Gary Bradley, grandchildren Jodie Martin and her husband Danny and Jonathan Bradley and his wife Tessa; also four great granddaughters Brittany, Cassie, Jaycie, Abby which she adored, and nephew Kevin Walpole and nieces Anita Cole, Linda Luye and Mary Ann Polk.
She is preceded in passing by her husband William Bill Jeff Bradley, her parents George and Mary Ellen Walpole, two brothers Chester and Cecil Walpole, brother-in-laws Byron Bradley, Verlin Lively and Carl Strawn, one sister, Osa Armstrong and sister-in-laws Lorene Walpole, Elaine Strawn, Audrey Lively, Elizabeth Walpole and Doris Bradley and nephew G. W. Burgett.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with interment following at Rosewood Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Texas Home Health Hospice. The family would like to recognize her husband’s nieces for all their acts of kindness and love and her good friends Eugene Hester family, Clarice Tibbs, and many others.
