Ashley Brooke Hill
Funeral services for Ashley Brooke Hill, 19, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 23, 2003 at Mobberly Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Foote and Rev. Slim Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, January 22, 2003 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
Ashley was born on February 19, 1983 in Longview to Johnny and Debbie Hill. She passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2003 in White Oak from injuries sustained in a four-wheeler accident.
Ashley attended school at Pine Tree I.S.D, and graduated in 2001. In high school, Ashley was a member of Z-Club, Student Council, Yearbook Staff, FCA, and Spanish Club. Ashley was a Globe Scholar and named Who?s Who among American high school students. She was also a 3 year member of the Pine Tree High School Precision drill team. Ashley?s involvement in dance, from a very young age, helped to earn her such honors as "Star Dancer" and "Dancer of the Week" in drill team. Ashley attended Blinn university after graduation and was currently residing in Longview and pursuing paralegal training at Kilgore Junior College.
A loving daughter, sister, and granddaughter, Ashley is survived by her parents, brothers, Kevin Hill and Shawn Hill of Longview, grandmother, Etta Hill of Longview, aunts, Linda Starr, Dianne Sanford, Barbara May, uncles, Coy Hill and Jerry Hill, and numerous cousins and friends.
