Asa and Phyllis Hampton were both classmates in Ulysses, KS. Friends.
What a great guy and total gentleman. I did business with Asa at Thomas Plumbing. He was great with people and treated everyone with dignity and respect. I did business with the company totally because of Asa. I never saw him that he was not smiling and in a great mood. I think a lot of that was because of Phyllis as she too was always smiling any time I saw them around Longview. They made a super couple. Our community lost a big asset this week. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to know him.

Asa was a man who said little, heard a lot, and was loved by many. He was a wonderful husband to a beautiful lady, Phyllis. I only saw them for a few months a year but this family has a special place in my ♥️. Thoughts and prayers to the Hampton family. Rest in peace, Asa.
