Funeral services for Artie M. Pfeifer, 82, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 23, 2006 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Ronnie Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Rd. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the funeral home. She was born on December 20, 1923 in Sulphur Springs. She passed away on October 20, 2006 in a Longview nursing facility. Mrs. Pfeifer was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and a surgical nurse for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Pfeifer; and son, James H. Pfeifer. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John E. Jr., and Jorene Pfeifer of Holly Lake Ranch; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
