Mrs. Artie Jane Noble Partin
Mrs. Artie Jane Noble Partin passed Friday, December 16th at Henderson Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was in her 93rd year. Mrs. Partin was born March 10, 1913 in Cleveland, Texas and came to Price, Texas with the East Texas Oil Boom in 1939, with her hus-band Bob. She is survived by two sons, Edgar Partin and Avery Partin of Henderson; one daughter and son-in-law, Mil-dred and Harold Sadler. She is also, survived by two sisters, Ida Riggs of Huntsville, Texas and Jimmie Lee of Liberty, Texas; 8 grandchildren, 26 great grand-children, and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Partin in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Radio Bible Class. She was a volunteer at the Depot Museum for 25 years and an active contributor to the Annual Quilt Show. She was an active volunteer with Henderson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for 26 years.

There will be a Celebration Service at the First Baptist Church, Sunday at 2 PM with Reverend Doyle Sumrall and Dr. Harold Springfield officiating. Burial will be held Monday, at 10 AM at Rusk County Memorial Gardens with Reverend Mike Ledbetter officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Those serving as pallbearers include: Ken Walton, Bob Fergerson, Jerry Golson, Max Haskins, Jimmy Craig, Bryan Bateman, Johnny Sproles, Tim Farley, and Andy Mills. Honorary Pallbearers include: Steve Powell, Alfred Jones, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Henderson Memorial Hospital.
