Funeral services for Arthur ?Art? Warfield, 81, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2004, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Homer Vogel officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosewood Park Mausoleum. He passed away Friday, July 2, in Longview.
Mr. Warfield was born December 10, 1922, in Rives Junction, Michigan, to Eugene and Clara Warfield. He had been a resident of Longview since 1983, moving from Southern Florida. He was a Missionary and a Pastor, and served with the Missionary Gospel Fellowship for 52 years. He attended the Pine Crest Bible Church, and was a Chaplain with the Nursing Home Ministries. Mr. Warfield was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Warfield.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Jean and C.J. Lewis of Bossier City, LA., Lynn Warfield of Carmichael, CA., Janice Kay and David Lashbrook of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and Pamela Warfield of Longview; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Nursing Home Ministries or to the Missionary Gospel Fellowship.
