Arthur Loyd Price's Obituary
Arthur Loyd Price, 72, of Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at his home in Longview. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, May 17th from 2-5 p.m. at 213 Sunnybrook Drive, Longview, Texas.
Born in Andrews, Texas on February 10, 1953, Arthur attended Kilgore College and studied Drafting and Engineering. He enjoyed a long career as a Project Manager of large retail shopping centers as well as a Construction Design Engineer. Arthur was also, at one time, a partner in Longview’s Jack’s Natural Foods. Arthur was well known in the auto restoration world, as this was a great passion for him. He enjoyed days on the boat and cherished spending quality time with friends and family. Arthur was always up for an adventure, be it rock crawling in the Jeep, straightening the roads curves on his motorcycle or even an impromptu scuba diving trip. Arthur lived the song lyric, “The road goes on forever and the party never ends.”
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Price and Annie Belle Price Green. He is survived by his wife, Kelly; his sons, Ashley Price, Cody Price and Nate Rominger; his sister, Deanna Price Mikeska; and multiple grandchildren.
Arthur will be remembered for his work ethic, a remarkably logical mind and an eagerness to lend a hand in absolutely any situation where he thought he could contribute. In that regard, he was, and is, an everlasting gift to all he helped. Above all, he will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to both his family and his close friends.
Friends and family are invited to Arthur’s home on Saturday, May 17th, from 2-5 p.m. to raise a glass, share a story and celebrate his life.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Heart to Heart Hospice and all their staff and a Special Thank you to Chaplain David Reeder.
