Memorial services for Arthur Charles ?Art? Oglesby, Sr., 63, of Longview, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away, Monday, May 23, at his residence.
Art was born May 23, 1942, in St. Louis, MO, and had lived in Longview for 1 year, moving from Gilmer. He was a retired trucker, and was a Vietnam veteran of the U. S. Army.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Brenda Oglesby; children, Arthur Charles Oglesby, Jr. and his wife Stacy Delaine, Karen Leah Oglesby, Diane Jullie Oglesby, and John Wayne Oglesby; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Alaine Oglesby and Spencer Brooke Oglesby; and sister, Margaret McCuisition and her husband Marty.
