Arthur A. Miller
Funeral services for Arthur A. Miller, 81, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Bruce Lincon officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel prior to the service. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. He passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at his residence in Longview.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller was born July 24, 1930 in Hays, KS to Adam and Alvina Miller. He was retired from the U. S. Army. He was also a retired parole officer for the Texas Department of Corrections. Mr. Miller was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Amelia Meis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 56 years Maria V. Miller of Longview; his sister, Sister Alvina Miller of Great Bend, KS; brother, Cecil Miller and wife Gloria of Wichita, KS; and several nieces and nephews.
