Arnold Vermeer's Obituary
Memorial services for Arnold Vermeer, age 72 of Henderson, will be held Sunday February 26, 2012 at the Tyler Road Baptist Church at 3:00pm with Rev. Robert Brock officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Vermeer died Thursday February 23, 2012 in a Shreveport Hospital.
Arnold Vermeer was born September 21, 1939 in Lyon County, Iowa to Edward and Elizabeth Vermeer. He was a veteran having served in the US Army, and was a retired computer technician from Kilgore ISD. Arnold was also a member of the Tyler Road Baptist Church, and had lived in the Henderson area since 1973.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Vermeer, his parents, brothers Delmer, Willie and John Vermeer, and sister Elsie
He is survived by his son Arnold B. Vermeer & wife Linda of Henderson, grandchildren; Carl & Christie Grimm of Henderson, Brady Vermeer & wife Stephanie of Henderson, Bryan Decker, Hillary Decker, and Collin Decker all of Henderson. Great Grandchildren Haylee & Kyleigh Grimm of Henderson, Kason Vermeer of Henderson, and Preston Faulkner of Henderson. Also surviving are brothers Preston Vermeer, Harold Vermeer, Bobby Vermeer.
