I grew up going to Skinner's almost everyday. Arnold always had a smile on his face. The store was like everybody's family store, cause we all knew each other. I loved that store & the people in it when the Skinner brothers had it. Rest in peace, Arnold. Jena Pettit Moon
My sister and I grew up in Skinner's grocery store . I think most kids in Longview did...he always had a smile and wanted to know how the family was. He was a wonderful man and those who knew him are better for it!!!!

Growing up Skinner's was part of my daily routine. I loved going in there and seeing Arnold's smiling face - he knew his customers by name - truly a remarkable man.

Arnold was a wonderful neighbor and helpful friend. When there was a need, he would gather friends to take care of your problem; delivering food or mowing your yard. He is missed. The Smitherman Family
