Armando H. "Capy" Caprarese
Memorial services for Armando H. "Capy" Caprarese, 84, of Longview will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Margaret's House at Beacon Hospice. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 at Margaret's House.
Mr. Caprarese was born August 14, 1924 in Steubenville, OH to Fiore and Antonietta Caprarese, who were originally from Italy. He had been a resident of Longview since 1971. He was retired from National Steel and was a WWII veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
"Capy" had the gift of gab and never new a stranger. He may be gone, but he will always be in our hearts. We love you dad. No more pain.
He is survived by his wife Kathrine; daughter, Christine Sims; son, Edward Caprarese; sister, Mary Jane Ceislak; and grandchildren, Jenna and Douglas Sims, Matthew, Lindsay and Andrew Caprarese.
