Ardeth L. Molby's Obituary
Ardeth L. Molby was peacefully promoted into the presence of Jesus, her Savior, on August 26, 2024. She married Lloyd A. Molby in 1955, who preceded her to heaven in 1997. Her children and bonus children were all loved genuinely in her life and precious to her, Ladina & Doug Wingert of Smithfield, KY and Katrina & Toby Nivens of Grapeland, TX. Her grandchildren, Andrew Wingert & Katherine Oostman, Rhetta & David Clevenger, and Zachary Wingert. She loved her bonus kids like they were her very own, Todd & Payton Magatagan, Tammy & Bobby Skinner, Todd & Jan Kelsey and bonus grandchildren Kelsey & Anna Skinner, Parker & Connor Kelsey. All treasure the wonderful times they spent with her playing games, traveling, and her godly influence in their lives.
Artie’s love, laughter, and joy will remain with us forever. She had lots of life experiences in her 94 years. She attended a one room schoolhouse, farmed, picked cotton, grew up with no indoor plumbing or electricity, raised gardens, sewed, cared for her handicapped sister, worked as a dental assistant, secretary, daycare teacher, and more. She loved to travel with her family, explore new places, and have adventures. Ardie’s gift of hospitality welcomed friends and hundreds of LeTourneau students into their home. Her delight for cooking meant there was always a home cooked meal and family time. She always met you with a smile, a huge hug, and made you feel like you were one of her own.
Remembrances can be given to the LeTourneau University Scholarship Fund.
