Annie Tuley Thomas' Obituary
Services for Annie Ruth Thomas, 88, of Longview will be held Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Wittmayer officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service starting at 11 am. She passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013.
Annie was born in Justin, Texas on September 16, 1925 to the late Blan and Rena Tuley.
A devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother she is survived by her husband of 69 years, Dr. Tommy Thomas; her son, Tommy Thomas, Jr. and her daughter, Brenda Thomas Lane and husband Joey.
Also surviving are grandson, Brian Keith Thomas of Shreveport, Louisiana; granddaughters, Catherine Lane Adams and husband, Mike of McKinney, Texas; and Carrie Lane Davis and husband, David of Pittsburg, Texas. She had three beautiful great grandchildren she loved dearly, Mason Michael Broad, Alyssa Lane Beaverson and Dillan Wade Davis.
Mrs. Thomas is also survived by her sister, Betty Wright and Husband David of Fate, Texas and brother, Glen Ray Tuley and wife, Mildred of Justin, Texas; nieces Kim Cupit of Oklahoma City, Regina Godbey of Fort Worth, and Ruth Elaine Cope of Ponder; nephews, Randy Shipman of Oklahoma City and Timothy Shipman of Tulsa.
The family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
