Annie Loveta Bennett
Annie Loveta Bennett, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend lost her struggle with heart disease on June 7, 2004. Funeral services will be held at Ten O?clock AM Wednesday June 9, 2004 at the Lakeview Baptist Church with Pastor Ted White officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mrs. Bennett was born April5, 1920 in Wills Point, Texas. She was married to Roscoe J. Bennett who preceded her in death.
Mourning her loss are her children; sons, Homer R. Morgan of Tyler and wife Mary; R Daryll Bennett of Henderson and wife Gayle; W. Virgil Bennett of Henderson and wife Sue; daughters, Sandra Hayden of Kilgore; Latricia Nichols of Longview and husband Rex; Wanda Holland of Longview; Dru Dahlstrom of Longview; and Barbara Nease of Sparks, NV. and husband Dale; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her step-son Melvin Bennett
Mrs. Bennett loved and served her church, community and family. She will be deeply missed and always cherished by her family and many dear friends.
Pallbearers will be David Cates, Claude Gray, Bobby Zager, Eddie Evers, Rex Harmison and Thomas Billingsley.
Memorials may be made to the Lakeview Baptist Church, 10522 FM 2011 E, Longview, Texas 75603 or Good Shepherd Foundation, 700 E. Marshall, Longview, Texas 75601 or a charity of choice.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday June 8, 2004 from 5pm until 7pm.
