Annie Louise Moore's Obituary
Annie Louise Moore, of Mt. Enterprise, Tx. passed away in her sleep on May 4, 2011 after a brave fight with lung cancer. She was 71. Louise was born August 8, 1939 in Mt. Enterprise, the seventh of twelve children to John Wesley and Jeannette Gaston Moore.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Jamie Rector Jones of New London, Tx. And Dena Ellis Wright of Mineola, Tx.; five sisters, Lois Thedford, Mary Jane Barnes, Martha Gage, Jonelle White and Jackie Williams; two brothers, Paul Moore and Don Moore; several grandchildren and numerous nieces , nephews and cousins.
In heaven, Louise will join her parents, sons, James Thomas "Bo" Rector and John Floyd "Jack" Rector; husbands, James R. Rector and Charles F. Phillips and siblings, Vona Carol Moore, Bobby June Larison, Cecil Moore, and Ruby Clifton.
Louise was a nurse for over 44 years, working in various hospitals, clinics and agencies with her favorite being home health care as a visiting nurse. After retiring, she lived with her daughter Jamie to be nearer to her young grandsons Rafe and Raley Jones. She was an accomplished seamstress who proudly sold her work via her online business. She was an avid reader, worker of word search and crossword puzzles and loved to deer hunt, go fishing, work in the garden and spend time with her grandsons.
Louise was a special Auntie and the best MawMaw ever. She will be greatly missed for her strength, courage, love and compassion for others. God bless you on your wonderful journey, free of illness and pain. Thank you for so many things. We will joyfully see you again someday in heaven.
Louise's family and countless friends are invited to her memorial service at 2:00 PM Saturday , May 7, 2011 at the Minden Baptist Church with Bro. Matt Pitts and Bro. Darrell Owens officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
