Anne Saugause Taylor's Obituary
Anne Taylor, 78, of Longview passed into the arms of her savior on March 26, 2026, at her home. A funeral service has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Longview Missionary Baptist Church with a visitation on Monday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Anne was born and raised in Detroit, MI to parents Stanley and Albertine Saugause. Shortly after completing her schooling, she left Detroit to find her own way, traveling over much of the United States and eventually living in Nacogdoches, TX and then later, Longview. While in Longview, she met Paul Taylor and they were later married in 1988. Anne enjoyed gardening with her husband and riding their motorcycles on trips. They cherished every moment she and Paul spent together. She many years later was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer in addition to multiple other ailments. But she fought every day to get to spend what time she could with the family that loved her and the Lord that she loved. Now at the end of her life, she is at peace having been united with her Savior.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Albertine Saugause; her siblings Stanley Saugause Jr., Margaret “Maggie” Howard, and Michael Howard; her grandson, Dallas Kuhn and a brother-in-law, Charles Taylor. Those left to cherish their memories of Anne include her husband of 38 years, Paul Taylor; her daughters Jody Saylors and Sheryl Kuhn; and her grandchildren, Brylee Saylors, Adam Kuhn, and Jerry Kuhn Jr; a sister and brother-in-law Julianne and Bill Gaston as well as nieces and nephews Elizabeth Gaston, Jonathan Gaston, Dawn Tayler, and Joe Taylor.
