Anne Best's Obituary
Funeral Mass for Anne Best, age 70 of Hallsville formerly of Henderson, will be celebrated at 2:00pm Tuesday October 12, 2010 at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Henderson with Father Jay Lucas officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Best died Friday October 8, 2010 in a Longview Hospital.
Anne was born June 20, 1940 in Shreveport, La. to Norman and Janie Neal, she was a retired sales clerk for Sears. She was a member of the St. Jude's Catholic Church. Anne was at one time President of the Ladies Alter Society, and a Catholic Daughter. She was a wonderful loving mother, and will surely be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry who passed away in 1989, and her parents.
She is survived by sons Jeff Best & wife Susan of Hallsville, and Andrew Best of Longview; daughters Laura Drennan & husband Tim of Quinlan, Kathleen Ramsey & husband Phillip of Hallsville, and Amie Robinson of Willow Park; sisters Marty Budd of Shreveport, La. Ronna Leper of Austin; brothers Buck Fowell, and Clay Richards of Florida. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be from 5 ~ 7pm Monday at the Funeral Home, and Rosary will be recited at 7pm
