We have not know Angie but a few months. We became fast friends when my dad, Walter Skwarlo, was ill and in the hospital. That is when we discovered we were sisters in Christ... both of us being "Daughters of the King"... what a special moment that was. Then sadly my dad did pass away and that was the last time I saw her... what a remarkable young lady. My dad thought the world of her and this would have broken his heart.... wish I would have had more time with her, but as we know tomorrow is promised to no one so it is so important to love and enjoy each breath we are given. Blessing to all who will miss her so.

I knew Angie when she and my son went to Nash Elem. in Texarkana. Had lost touch over the years and shocked to hear the news. Angie was such a lovely and happy little girl. Angie and I met while we were in college. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. I can see that sweet smile and beautiful eyes even though it has been many years since we've spent time together. I contacted her about a year ago because even after all these years, she was someone that stayed on my mind and in my heart. This world will be a sad place without her. Angie was an answer to many prayers when she walked into Longview Community Ministries and applied for the Program Manager position. I shared with her our need for commitment and stability in this vital position and she showed no signs of reservation. From the minute she began, her sweet demeanor and capable skills helped create an atmosphere of joy and calm only a child of the King could have done. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Angie's family through this difficult time. What a pleasure it was to work with Angie for many years at the ETLC. This mother, daughter, friend and great worker for the Lord showed us all how to show love for everyone!
