Andrew Duane Williams' Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Andrew Duane Williams, age 74 of Henderson will be held at 2:oopm Thursday in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev
Bill Tisdale officiating. Burial will follow in the Rusk County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Williams passed away Monday night at his residence. Mr. Williams was born Oct 21, 1931 in Rusk County. He was a 1950 graduate of Kilgore High School. He was a Navy veteran proudly serving aboard the USS Phillipine Sea during the Korean conflict.He loved his Navy buddies, and looked forward to their V-51 reunions. Mr. Williams worked for Fina Oil Company two years before going to work for Texas Eastman Company where he worked for 36 years before his retirement in January of 1993. Duane loved rebuilding antique tractors, a hobby he enjoyed all his life. He was a devoted father, a loving husband. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Henderson, where he was a member of the James Mason Sunday School Class. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father Andy Williams, and his wife Caroleen Dorsey Williams. He is survived by his wife Jane Gibson Williams of Henderson, mother Fay B. Williams of Henderson, son and daughter in law Kevin and Lorie Williams of Benbrook, daughter Carrie Sue Williams of Nacogdoches, sister and brother in law Arlene and James Christian of Henderson, grandchildren Sarah Jane Williams and Matthew Thomas Williams of Benbrook, niece and nephew Jenny Floyd and Milton Christian. Visitation will be held
from 6PM until 8PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
