Andreu L. Wiltse's Obituary
Memorial services for Andreu L. Wiltse, 88, of Henderson will be held at 5:30 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at St. Matthews Episcopal Church with Rev. Patsy Barham officiating. Rader Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wiltse died Sunday, August 26, 2007 in Tyler.
He was born April 18, 1919, in Jamaica, New York to James Lawrence and Helen Andreu Wiltse. He moved to Henderson in 1946 and owned and operated Henderson Steam Laundry for over 40 years He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
During WWII, he served in the Army Air Corp as a pilot flying a bomber in the southwest Pacific theatre.
Surviving are sons, Larry Wiltse and wife Joy of Overland Park, Kansas, and Arthur Elkins of Plano; grandchildren, Austin Elkins and Andreu L. Wiltse, III; step-son, Malcolm Evans of Austin.
A visitation will be held in the Parish Hall of St. Matthews Episcopal Church following the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 214 College, Henderson, TX 75654.
