Amanda Victoria McClanahan's Obituary
A memorial service for Amanda Victoria McClanahan, 32, of Carthage, formerly of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Shrewsbury and Dr. Charles Barham officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Amanda passed away Saturday as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born on February 16, 1977 in Longview, Texas to Johnny and Jeannie McClanahan. She was attending Panola County College and hoped to have a career in IT design.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Romona Robertson; and her grandfathers, James Robertson and Monte McClanahan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Jeannie McClanahan; her father, Johnny McClanahan and his wife Debbie; her daughter, Tiffany Yarbrough; her two sons, Salone Yarbrough and Aiden McClanahan; her sisters, Courtney Cantrell and her husband, Steven, and Tamira Elkins and her husband, Jonathan; 3 brothers, Joshua McClanahan, Reuben McClanahan and his wife Jennifer, and Taylor McClanahan; grandmother, Nancy Wilkerson; grandfather, Willie Wilkerson and his wife Dorothy; nephews, Austin Barton, Logan Cantrell, Noah Cantrell, Caleb Elkins, and Isaiah Elkins; and her niece, Addison McClanahan.
