Funeral services for Almeda Pliler Ford, 91, of Hallsville will be held at Twelve O?clock Noon Monday September 17, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Hallsville with Reverend Jeff Hastings officiating. Interment will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Ford passed away Saturday September 15, 2007 in Hallsville.
She was born May 30, 1916 in Gum Springs Community to Albert and Pearle Russell Pliler. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hallsville. She also was a member of the Quilters at First United Methodist Church of Hallsville and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Ford Buchanan and husband Mike of Hallsville, Tx. sons, Laverne ?Dink? Russell Ford and wife Gay of Irving, Tx,; James Albert ?Al?
Ford and wife Glenda of Florence, Ala.; Lewis Raymond ?Corky? Ford and wife Sydney of Longview, Tx.;
Grandchildren, Bradley Ford, Whit Ford and wife Leah Ann, Kim Phillips and husband Joe, Jeff Ford and wife Katie, Skip Buchanan and wife Jill, Rob Buchanan, Kelly Thedford, Carmen Page and Mary Corlett, great-grandchildren, Zachary and Nicholas Thedford, Kandice and Holli Page, Dalton Buchanan, Brooke Buchanan, Turner Phillips and Aiden Ford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at First United Methodist Church of Hallsville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday September 16, 2007 from 6pm until 8pm.
