Alice "Polly" Barton Cowles' Obituary
Services for Alice "Polly" Barton Cowles, 88, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, with Bro. Donny Beebe officiating. Interment will be in Rosewood Park. Polly left this world to be in the arms of Jesus on January 14, 2013, at her home in Grand Prairie. She was born December 9, 1924, in Burkburnett, Texas. She was a graduate of Kilgore College, and one of the founding members of Harmony Baptist Church in Hallsville.
She will be loved and missed by her son, Robert L. Smith II and his wife Deborah; Grandchildren: Leigh Anne Wright, Jeri Casey and Aaron Soto; and many Great-Grandchildren nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
