Alice Merle Tatum's Obituary
Alice Merle Tatum of Longview passed away peacefully at Regional General Hospital on July 10, 2009, at the age of 95. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Merlin Mitchell Tatum and her oldest son, Pat Tatum. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, James Tatum and his wife Marie; her daughter, Linda Sue Weaver; her daughter, Judy Patak and her husband Ray; her son, Neal Tatum and his wife Lana; and her youngest son, John Tatum; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She worked for many years at St. Anthony Catholic Church, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being a caretaker to her friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home, Monday morning, July 13, 2009, from 9-10:30 AM. A graveside service will follow at 11 AM at Memory Park Cemetery with Father Bruce Lincoln officiating.
