I typed in Sonny’s name and the obituary came up. Sorry to hear of his passing. My parents Mick & Suzanne Meyer were good friends with Sonny and Charlotte. Dad worked with Sonny at Continental Can in Longview from 1978 to 1991. I remember the Wind River Band. Mom and dad followed the band where ever they were playing. Dad and Sonny were both wood carvers together. Great memories even for me. My dad passed away June 28th 2024 just shy of his 82nd birthday. Mom has some of Sonny’s wood carved Santas and proudly displays them year round. Sonny and Charlotte always looked forward to mom’s hand made Christmas cards every Christmas. Mom and dad moved back to Indiana in1995 but I live here in Longview. Wish I would have caught this sooner as I would have most certainly attended Sonny’s funeral service. Great tribute video!

Mr. Sonny was a blessing to all who met him. I will miss his pictures of the birds and hearing him play the harmonica around our community. Your family is in my prayers, Michelle. We love yall!
