I only knew Mr. Al for the couple months my dad was at Parkview before the quarantine has kept me away. I was able to share table with him and Dad many days, and he was such a joy! He had a lot of spirit left in him in spite of his physical struggles and usually a twinkle in his eye, and often a sassy comment, even if just one word. He kept us guessing, often laughing, but always was a pleasure. I will miss Mr. Al and wish I had known him longer. I hope Parkview honored him with a veteran's sendoff like GSMC does.My dad would have been the first in the hallway in his Air Force cap saluting him if he had known!
Pawpaw will be missed, I’m gonna miss those days with you twirling me down the halls and us laughing together you were a great man! Thank you for being great AL!
