I'm so sorry to hear about Ms. Aleta and I know how much she meant to so many people. Ms. Aleta lived next door to me in the Woodland apartments. She was the most wonderful, loving and sweetest ladies in the world. She definitely made my transition from losing everything in Katrina to living in an apartment (which I'd never done before in my life) in another state an easy and happy one. She loved to keep her gardens under the stairs and out back behind the apartment complex. Her sense of humor would sometimes have us laughing really hard because whatever she said would never had been expected to come from her.... we loved it. I've often thought of her after she left but had no way of contacting her or her family but she definitely was prayed for and loved from afar. I do know she's happy with Jesus and we all know we'll see her again very soon. May the peace of Christ and the love of God and friends comfort her family at the loss of her. Know she is perfectly happy and healthy now and for all eternity with Jesus.
