Alan Ray Henderson's Obituary
Alan Ray Henderson age 53, of Longview, passed away at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas December 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born December 21, 1959 in Terrell Texas to Jerry and Zo Henderson. The family moved to Longview where Alan attended local schools growing up.
Alan owned and operated Alsco Siding & Windows for many years until he left the industry and worked for General Dynamics as a builder of satellites which he greatly enjoyed. Alan loved motorcycles and riding them. In 2004 Alan gave his heart and life to the Lord then later due to his love for the Lord and motorcycles he founded "Off the Chain Ministries" He also was a regular speaker at the Hi-way 80 Rescue Mission and was an active member of the Living Word Church in Kilgore.
Alan leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife Jennifer Henderson, two step-children Raven and Jordan Ferguson, his mother, Zo Henderson, sisters, Tammy Hazel David, Pam Gardner Dale and his brother Mike Henderson.
Alan's father, Jerry Henderson precedes him in passing.
Funeral services for Alan will be Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Living Word Church in Kilgore at 2 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Lee Bryan. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
