Adsila Sarah Tramel's Obituary
Adsila Sarah Tramel was born on January 21, 2008, at 12:18am in Tucson, AZ. She was born just shy of a month early. She weighed in at 8lbs, 3.4 oz, and 21 ½ inches long. She was the happiest baby earning her the nickname “Happy” by her Weto and Gigi.
Adsila was the big sister to her brother & sister. Growing up, Adsila was like a little mom to her siblings, watching them and loving on them every chance she got. Of course, as they all became teenagers, their attitudes changed, but their sibling bond could never be broken.
Adsila attended many schools at a young age, from Ennis ISD, to PTISD, then in the state of Montana, until her family moved back in 2015. She attended Spring Hill from 2nd-9th grade and then transferred to Longview High School where she found her lobo family.
Adsila had many talents. From pee-wee cheerleading, making the choir team in 5th grade, to dance and making the Pacesetter Drill Team her freshman year, but her passion was the game of Soccer. She started playing at the age of 8 for the Longview rec league. She went on to play for her club team FC-Dallas-Aquino 08, made the varsity team for Spring Hill, and would then be playing as a lady lobo her sophomore year. She had the speed, talent, and determination and planned on playing in college.
Outside of her soccer playing, she spent a lot of time with her cousins and her closest friends. Her love and loyalty ran deep for them. She was very honest, sometimes a little too honest, but it always came from the love in her heart. She was feisty, quick-witted, feared nothing and no-one. She told it how it was and was never one to candy coat or beat around the bush. She also had a knack for convincing parents and coaches to have sleepovers. She definitely would’ve made one heck of a lawyer.
Adsila accepted Jesus into her life at the age of 12. She believed in Him, but struggled with her faith after her Gigi’s passing. But soon after her diagnosis of T-cell Leukemia, Adsila’s faith blossomed. She spent time in her bible and having many conversations with God. She held onto Psalms 2:4. Adsila was never afraid of death, because she knew where she would be going and who would be waiting to welcome her to her heavenly home.
Adsila loved the holidays, Christmas being her #1. She loved gathering with her family and looked forward to the food. She was a huge (in the closet) Harry Potter fan. She loved Twilight (Team Edward), a huge Grease fan, scary movies all year round, and loved all types of music.
On September 27, 2024, Adsila woke up in the arms of our Lord, restored, healed, and received by her Gigi and loved ones.
Adsila is survived by her parents, James and Jessica Tramel of Longview, her siblings Gabriel and Sophea Tramel, her grandfather Edgar DelaFuente of Longview, her grandparents Wes and Rhonda Tramel, her aunts and uncles, Eugene and Amanda Wright of The Woodlands, Christian DeLaFuente of Austin, Enrique and Teya DeLaFuente of Longview, Joshua Tramel of Longview, and Jessica Tramel of Longview, her closest cousins, Ella, Jillian, Chloe, Jackson, Julien, Hudson, Joslynn, Jaylynn, Emilio, Sarah, Brice, Lily, Laila, Julius, Ashley, Jain, and Dobby. She is also survived by her great grandparents, many, many more aunts, uncles, cousins and even more friends.
Adsila is loved and will be remembered by everyone she knew and by those who knew her.
