Adelard Irene Carroll
A visitation for Adelard Irene Carroll, 89, of Longview will be held from 6 to 8 PM Friday, April 3, 2009 at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Funeral services will be held in Pensacola, FL under the direction of Fath Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Carroll was born on October 22, 1919 in Bridgewater, MA. He passed away on April 1, 2009 in a Longview hospital. He proudly served his country with the Armed forces during WWII and the Korean War. He was a highly decorated veteran having just recently received his WWII medals presented by Rep. Louie Gohmert during a public Veterans ceremony in Longview. A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Mr. Carroll is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Sandi Carroll of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and David Wood of Trinity; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one special niece, Gloria Hodges of Wyconda, MO; 5 sisters; 1 brother; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made in honor of Mr. Carroll to his granddaughter's Mana Relief Fund.
