Ada Dodson Rogers' Obituary
Ada Dodson Rogers, born March 19, 1947, peacefully won her battle over cancer Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
A lifelong resident of Longview, Ada graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1965. She attended Beauty School after graduation, and upon completion opened her beauty salon in Spring Hill where she worked for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Rogers, and son, Thomas Wade Rogers, on November 19, 1996. She is survived by sisters Norma Dodson, of Longview, and Patricia Dodson Douty and husband Michael, of Arlington, Texas, and brother, Paul Dodson, of Longview.
Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home Chapel, Longview. There will be a short visitation in the chapel preceding the ceremony. Private burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
