I worked with Ann starting from her graduation from LVN school, and for many years on S400 at Good Shepherd Medical Center. We were so blessed that she came to the unit and she was a wonderful nurse that will always be loved and respected by me as well as all of her co-workers. She brought a real calm to our nursing team, was always ready to step up to the plate, and I never heard an ill word or negative criticism from her about anyone that we worked with. I particularly remember her concern about her tattoo's, and her long sleeves that she always wore. She was concerned that her patients would question her care abilities (that was NEVER voiced by any of them) but her biggest worry was that when she ended up in a nursing home as a "little old lady" that she would be judged and no one would care for her! I know that the patients never voiced anything and I tried to reassure her that the latter would not be a factor. God Bless you, Ann Fuchilla - and peace to all of her family. In my book, she was one classy lady! Junell S. Nichols, RN-BC, BSN, CLL, Charge Nurse/Assistant Clinical Supervisor, S400, GSMC
