I must share this story with you regarding Guy. I moved here 7 years ago and bought a house ot 100 Maxie Rd. I had an old pendulam type clock that had been in my family for only the Lord knows...at least 60 years. It may have even come from the "old country". Italy It was in a fire at my Aunts house many years ago ....But I carried it in the trunk of my car for literally years looking for just the right person to give it to because it was literally burnt to a crisp. Well one day while riding my trail bike around the neighborhood , I saw Guy in his garage with all those clocks. I stopped in and told him my story and that I wanted to give him my family's clock. He said to bring it to him. I did and he said the insides were in great shape and I should consider fixing it and staining it whatever color I want. I could'nt believe it. I was thrilled!! I was ready to give it to him cause I just knew it was hopeless! I told him to go ahead and fix it . He did and I videoed it running and gonging and played the video to the amazement of my family in Houston! I will never forget it and will always have such fond memories of such a fine , fine man, who incidently had the same name of my childhood best Buddy, Mike Cheek of Houston.
