I remember Fig from PBHS days. He was always a good sport and wanted to have fun in whatever crazy way we could imagine. He was a good friend to everyone in the Hutchison family and loved to visit when he came back to Arkansas.

Tom's Memorial is about to start as I type this. I'm unable to attend due to my sciatica. I wanted to express my gratitude for having had Tom (& Rebecca) as neighbors for the last nearly 20 years. They were wonderful neighbors and friends! After Rebecca passed, we'd have Tom come join our family for holiday meals and/or send food over to him. My grown children and even their children enjoyed it when Tom would regale them with stories he so adequately told. For several years, Rebecca would take our Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees dog, Sheba, on her walks with her. After Rebecca passed, Sheba sorely missed her, but always looked forward to seeing Tom. He would dog sit her sometimes. She would sleep on the floor next to his bed. We always take Sheba with us to get our mail, down the long front sidewalk. She would always look to see if Tom was out and if he were she'd make a beeline to him before she'd go to the mailbox! So, Tom will not only be missed by us, but by Sheba, as well. Tom, I'm so glad you have received your Heavenly Reward! We will be neighbors once again, in Heaven.

Oh my...our hearts are hurting 💔 for the loss of a great friend..David and I are members of the Elderville Water Supply, Tom always made us smile 😃 as we drove up to pay the bill..he was a bright 🌞 spot and we always enjoyed seeing him and sharing our love with him ❤️ 💕 he will be greatly missed..praying God's love and comfort 🙏❤️ 🙏 ❤️
Tom has been a real friend and good neighbor for many years. We have many fond memories together starting with his cat Bubba and our mutual appreciation for Ford trucks, shade trees, hot coffee, and a good joke. No matter how hard life was, he always encouraged me with a handshake, a smile and sincere concern about how we were doing. I won’t soon forget the many colorful stories he shared or how well he told them. He Christian faith and family values were inspiring. I will remember him always as a man of character and a genuine friend. Happy trails, Tom!
