I have many fond childhood memories of Diane. She and I were the best of friends. We shared all our secrets, and sorrows.
We did silly things like singing little songs together while riding the bus to and from school. This drove some of the boys on the bus crazy, but we didn't care we were having fun. She would sleep over at my house or I would sleep over at hers every chance we got and we would drive our parents crazy with the giggling until we had to get quiet and go to sleep.
I didn't get to see Diane much in later years but we kept in touch and did talk from time to time. I know she will be missed by all her family and friends. She was a very special person.
