Thea: How I so much want to be there with you and the girls today. The acquisition of Gulf States Utilities by Entergy split up one of the finest groups of people I have ever had the privilege to be associated with. And right in the middle of those folks was Mack. I remember hours and hours of conversations about hunting and farming and golf and family. I remember Mack's stories of his younger days and how he would often say, "When I think of some of the crazy things I used to do, I wonder why I wasn't killed back then!" I remember Mack's attitude when he was first diagnosed. How he said some stupid cancer wasn't going to stop him from enjoying life! And, boy did he enjoy life. I'm sorry we didn't keep in touch over these last 10 years. I miss him and his infectious laugh and his zeal for life. Can't help but think of the Saturday afternoon adventures we all shared while Mack was on the hunt for some new treasure to add to his driveway collection. Now he's gone on ahead on another adventure. Too many years have passed since we've seen each other.
