I have several childhood memories of Mr. Cummings. Every summer, he'd take Toni and I to the lake-out in the boat, tubing. It was lots of fun. He was great to be around-awesome sense of humor and a loving dad to Toni. I went on vacation with their family several times but I remember once that Toni and I were trying to remember a character's name on the Footloose movie. He found a video store in the town we were going through at the time and went inside and found the movie to let us know what the character's name was. He probably did it so we'd hush talking about it, but we laughed about it and he was pretty cool for going out of his way to stop and look that up for us.
Although I haven't seen him in many years, I always remembered what a great person he was; how he'd pick on my and make me laugh. I know he will be deeply missed by many!
