Dear Mize Family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I just recently heard of his passing. I thought you might like to hear this story that I will always remember of him. He had his van in our shop...it was Durham
Chevrolet at that time. He asked me to park his van out front for he would have to pick it up after hours. I was at home that evening eating supper and all of a sudden it dawned on me that I had forgotten to leave his van outside. I immediately grabbed the phone book at called him at home. He was so understanding and said that he had been in the lawnmower business for years and he had forgotten things like that before. Anyone else would have really have made me feel horrible about that. I tell that story alot up here at work because I will never forget how he treated me with such understanding. He c came by a couple of months ago and said he could tell that he wasn't getting any better and just wanted to say "goodbye". I hugged him and told him I would see him soon. I will miss seeing him come in at Patterson...but he forever made an impact on my life.
God Bless you all!
Sincerely,
Shelly Butler
