I had the pleasure of knowing Cathy at Summer Meadows.She and my mother, Sylvia Jackson became good friends. My mother always said she wished she had known Cathy when they were young. My sister, Marlla and her became close as well. Sister and I went to see her every day. Mother is just down the hall. We spent many evenings visiting and talking of years gone by. I can just see her laughing at some of the conversations we would have. We had fun and good times. She was such a wonderful lady and we loved her as if she were our own. She made so many beautiful lap blankets and gave to many of the residents and staff as well. I thank God above she did not have to suffer long. We will miss her and will never forget her sweet smile.
