I have so many wonderful memories of Joy Dell. They go all the way back to our childhood in Levelland and Clauene. I particularly remember the years after the death of her mother. She was only 5 or so. Her father would bring her to our house on Saturdays and my mother would wash and roll her hair. It wasn't until years later that we learned how tender headed she was and how she dreaded those shampoos. After she grew up and married Leroy, we saw them mainly at the annual Liles reunions and heard from her at Christmas. She was a wonderful person and will certainly be missed. She was always one of my favorite cousins.
My sincere condolences to Leroy, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Love,
