To John's beloved family,
Your dad was so very special. He not only was my colleague at work, but also a very dear friend. He hired me at Eastman and I worked with him for about 20. I was also privileged to eat dinner with him, the Johns, and Bob on Wednesday evenings--a very special group of friends. Sharing a love of sports--especially Arkansas Razorbacks--made our friendship even stronger. Be assured his love for Letty and his boys was always the best part of his life! May your memories and love for your Dad sustain you during this time. May God wrap his arms around you and give you comfort.##imported-begin##Carol Kinsey##imported-end##

My husband Jack and I were classmates of John and graduated in his class of 1950 from Ada High School. John and I were in Sunday School Class together at the First Christian Church of Ada growing up and during highschool. He was such a nice person and we were sorry to hear of his death.##imported-begin##Barbara Albright Caldwell##imported-end##

We have known John and Letty for many many years both at Eastman and at the FUMC. David, Bryan, Kyle, all of you gave wonderful remembrances of your dad at the Memorial Service today. Letty taught our daughter in Kindergarten at Trinity. After Letty died John came by to see me in the TV room at the FUMC every day he ushered I run the TV ministry and I always looked forwarded to his visits since I am hidden in my cubby hole under the stairs. I kidded him about him being one year younger than I was. I will miss his visits. Oh, yes we live in Maxey Acres and he came by to visit several times in the past years.##imported-begin##Frances & Lewis Etter##imported-end##
