Jerry and Rosella, I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious son. My heart aches for you, and I pray that you will feel God's presence to give you comfort.
My deepest sympathies to Jerry's family and friends during this difficult time. Jerry was not only very smart, analytical, and hard working, he was also very kind and positive. He will be very missed by many. May he rest in peace...
It was so sad to read of Jerry's death in the paper this morning. While I don't recall ever meeting Jerry, Jr., I know Jerry, Sr. and Rosella were very proud of him. I pray that God's helping hand will bring them peace in the days and weeks ahead.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerry for the past 10 years and I was always amazed at his work ethic, knowledge and genuine desire to help people. There was not much that Jerry did not know about our businesses or technologies and he was often the 'go to' person for just about any question or concern....and he almost always knew the answer and/or would research it in his little spare time and get back with you. He always went above and beyond for all of us. I will cherish those 30 minute meetings that went for one hour or longer because Jerry was so animated and passionate and would talk circles around all of us.....it was Jerry and we loved that about him. He was brilliant. I learned a lot from Jerry and am a better person from having known and worked with him over the years. He was a great man and great human being and I am going to miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they go through this very difficult time.
I really don't know were to start. When I was asked to step in and take care of Mr. Hooten my first thought was this man is very caring and loving. He repeated told me how much he loved his parents and how he appreciated the fact that I was there to provide care for him. Such a wonderful man with a heart of gold that I am going to truly miss. I'm a true believer that god put people in your life for a purpose and I'm going to truly miss you my friend. You always thanked me for taking care of you but I also thank you for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to be there for you Ril Mr. Jerry Lynn Hooten
